Quick Guide to Setting Notes for Pet Inventory

As players progress through the game and acquire more pets it can be difficult to recall which specific items are stored in each pet. Therefore, it may be helpful to store specific items of one type or similar items within certain pets. For example, herbs, potions and potion making items could be stored in one pet; cooking ingredients and cooking tools could be stored in another pet; gathering tools and gathered items could be stored in yet another pet.

While many players utilize this type of storage system for pets, new players may be unaware of an in-game feature for keeping track of items stored in pet inventory, which is the Set Note feature found on the Pet Information tab.

To utilize this feature:

Step 1 – Open the Pet Information tab:

Step 2 – Click on the name of the desired pet then click on Set Note:

Step 3 – In the interface which opens alongside the Set Note box, type a brief description (80 character limit) of what is stored in that pet:

Step 4 – Once typing is completed, click Save then click Quit:

Repeat the above procedure for each pet that you want to set a note for:

While the Pet Information tab permits only partial visibility of each note, the player can use the mouse to hover over each pet listing to see the complete text of the note:

Once the note is set, players can use the same method to go back into the Set Note feature and edit the note if desired by using the backspace and delete keys.

Hopefully this quick guide will make it easier for new players to keep track of their pets’ inventories!

NOTE: This guide also contains images which will be inserted when the feature is enabled on the forums, but for now I've provided the links to those images. I wanted to copy/paste this guide before the old forums were permanently removed.

Adore the guide. As someone with 20+ pets, I can never freaking remember which pet has what item, which usually results in me summoning them one after another just to find one blasted item.

As someone with 120+ pets, I would never find anything ever if I didn't put notes on them.

I just tried in-game and the left/right arrow keys are no longer working for me either. :( I've edited my guide accordingly.
