Why don't other MMOs do what mabinogi does?

    The only other game I can think of is Adventure Quest Worlds (AQW) though it has a story last I checked they don't force you on a path anymore and you can kinda skip around the story whenever, though certain classes or class ranks are locked behind a paywall from what I remember.
