So, you guys have seen the newest Gachapons and Beauty Coupons, right?
Probably cried in a corner somewhere about not getting what you wanted from the gamble, right?
No? Okay, so you just bought it off the player marketplace with gold then, am I right?
I am! Okay then, without further aduo, let's begin!

Ahem, okay so these Pons we use in the Dressing Room were released how long ago?
Bah, doesn't matter. Nexon hasn't been seeing their true potential anyways.
But you as the curious onlooker rea- oh... you just skipped down to the bottom. Okay. Very well, ignore the attempt at an eloquent speech.

So here's the question:
What can we do to help encourage newbies to spend money on Pons, while retaining the gachapon model for papa KR?

And here's the answer:
We can't do anything, Nexon NA has to change the business model themselves, and add in additional code to the Cash Shop.

What this coding might include:
-A new Pons exchange section in the Cash Shop.
-This system works with a point rewards system, handing out stars from Shy for every item purchased, the rarer the item, the more stars.
-Ability to purchase an item, say an Eluned Afternoon Tea Jacket (F) directly from the Cash Shop.
-Each item would rotate weekly, maybe even daily.

But hmm...

What do you guys think? Should we start suggesting that we use Pons to buy items from 2+ year old gachapons?
Or should we just ask KR to make it so that Beauty Styles can be purchased with Pons while the Coupons are like a "You don't have to use Pons, and can get the item for free" option?
Maybe you just have ideas of your own?

[Fun Fact]
Mabinogi Korea has a different name for this currency!
According to google translate, 폰 can mean either pawn or phone.

Why are there Pons when NX exists?

Because this was how the Dressing Room was first introduced.
And it has since been revised while the Pons System was tossed aside, replaced by Beauty Coupons.

Speaking of unlock features, there's supposed to be wallpaper and flooring for the special gachapon for the homestead housing update.
According to the KR post, you can get up to what I believe is 3 different types for each wallpaper/flooring.
If those are instead added in as Pons purchases, then we might be able to convince Nexon to also add the same furniture from that gachapon into the Pons system as well.
Since furniture already drops in events, then there's really no need to add it all into a week long gachapon that everyone's just going to complain about.
You can view the page right here to get a better understanding of what the loot looks like.
I honestly think that using the Pons system to continue purchasing some homestead furniture is a good idea to keep the Pons system going.
But I'm just not sure that it should be the only option to spend Pons on.
(Everyone hates the old and outdated styles, so no one actually pays for the Dressing Room as much as they used to.)
