It's been mentioned elsewhere, but any of the mabi cooking "percents" are asking more for... "parts of the whole".
Like 80 + 10 + 5 = 95 "parts"
Fish is 80/95 of those parts, so ~84.2%
10/95 parts for oil, so ~10.5%
5/95 parts for the salt, so ~5.3%
So not only is the bar vague as heck...the actual math uses decimal percentages too?
Who at devcat thought it was a good idea to put percentage behind percentages while using a vague percentage bar?

Yes, there are certain recipes that have decimals.
The actual recipe listed for broiled Brifne carp is generally rounded as
85% fish 10% oil and 5% salt

There are a couple recipes with the %s listed, but if you follow exactly what is listed, you will often get 3-4 stars with % off.
That explains why decimals are important for recipes.
I think they did it to torment us when it comes to making perfect items.
