I log in, successfully proceed to the character window, but when I try to go online game kicks me out with a, "Cannot reach server".

Is it just me or is anyone experiencing it?

Did you try logging into a different channel? Did you let it sit a bit then try again after a while?

Yeah, I did both and it worked. I told my friend about it and it seems like there's some kind of a channel glitch? It's probably that. I was trying to log in into channel 10 when I experienced the problem.

I see it from time to time when my internet has issues.
I usually wait the 30 seconds duration of a normal DC or wait until my internet reconnects and usually don't have a problem reconnecting.

Sometimes, the issue is on Nexon's end: the channel can be full or they're rebooting it, for example.
