About spirit weapon's favorite gem...

Why does mostly everyone I met have the same Gem as the preferred being Tourmaline?

Don't know the full details yet but is Veteran dungeon the ONLY way to get that gem?

Dare I say that this spirit revamp is already rigged on arrival?

Is everyone else's spirit weapon desire Tourmaline I need to know if this is just coincidence or am I just not giving Nexon enough credit when it was due...

    From what I read the gem is determined by the weapon type.

    The weapon that favorites Tourmaline are only Staff and Wand.

    For other weapons

    Sword - Heliodor
    Axe - Red Heliodor
    Blunt - Green Heliodor
    Lance -- Bloodstone
    Bow and Crossbow - Jade
    Cylinder - Pink Sapphire
    Knuckle - Jet
    Control Bars - Opal
    Dual Guns - Tanzanite
    Shuriken - Phantom Quartz
    Chainblade - Ametrine

    You can still feed Rolling Pins to exp from Lvl 1.

    The new gems are also a possible reward for fragmenting Echostones.
    A guildmate got a 5cm Opal from fragmenting a Lv20 Echostone.

    Theres this cool skill called metallurgy i get 5-6 new gems an hour but i sell them to everyone too lazy to farm their own for obnoxious prices. Theres also alban paradise of gems or good ol vet.

    Yeah, it's based on the type of weapon the spirit is currently in, and not actually tied to the spirit itself.

    So if you, say, have a Female Bow Spirit currently in a Sword, she'll prefer Heliodor. But if you were the transfer her over to a Staff, she'd immediately start preferring a Tourmaline.
