Pernament Combo Card VIP Combo slot change problem

Not sure if it was mentioned somewhere , it probably was but i can't find it
But i was planning to make myself a combo card using Premium combo card and Combo Card Slot Change Coupon , the problem is that if you have VIP the combo cards become pernament and you can't change skills on a combo cards while they are pernament and in my case i have VIP for a year because it was cheap from black friday .
Is the issue known or any workaround exists to this issue ?
