I can't be the only one who did all of the objectives in the Special Training in the Shadow Realm quest and didn't realize that was a Weekly quest, not a Daily one.
I'm glad the Fruits, Refined Shadow Crystals, and Unlimited SM Pass didn't come with expiration timers.
Well, now to just not forget to summon the Squire every day we get the scroll to keep making progress towards the Baltane Seal Ring quest.

Why did they call this a squire training event? If anything you could call it a Baltane Celebration event
There is no training bonus or bonus chance increase.
There is no squire mission bonus.
There is no conversation likability bonus.
There is no baltane mission bonus (although we can get passes and crystals as rewards)
There is no reward to benefit or increase the interaction with the squires whatsoever. "Special Training" that does literally nothing.

The only apparent interaction is some daily summon scroll that has nothing to do with your squad and then all you have to do is enter a 1 gp drop dungeon, use the scroll, and then leave.

Even if this was only created to support the sale of the recruitment scrolls, it is essentially a bad or purposeless event that could have been far more interactive and entertaining in relation to its proposed theme.

While the ring reward is actually a very nice touch, the event seems to be poorly named or poorly constructed, and I hope any future "new" events get significantly better consideration by the creators in regards to the potential for interactivity.

Tbh they should've reduced training times on squires from 36 minutes to 5 minutes during the event (or something). This would have both suited the title of the event (squad training) and encouraged people to purchase squire recruitment scrolls so they could buff up extra squires. Definitely a bummer :(

Still, not gonna lie I'm glad they re-released the recruitment scrolls after years of asking (and as a direct purchase too, not a pack!)
