There are bots everywhere.

Bots in the forums, bots selling reforges, bots spamming in dunbarton, there are even random sketchy high leveled players marching around with bots on Alexina like crazy.

Can it stop now please?

    The other day the bots had flooded the forums and it took 4 pages to find an actual thread that wasn't spam.

    We can just @mention one of the Volunteer Forum Moderators in the forums or even from the Unofficial Official Mabinogi discord group to check all the bots out on Nexon forums and they will take care of it eventually...

    Now for the bots in game selling reforges, spamming the public chats, and for sketchy high-leveled players marching and trolling others with several bots... your best bet would be to make a ticket against them and report any players you suspect to be using the bots/scripts and they will look into it.

    I feel like they are doing more of a better job at investigating players and actually disciplining the players if they are found to do so... so please keep up with the good work, GMs!

    Since they are spamming 'casino' and 'horse race' in Korean, why not just block those words, '카지노' and '경마'.

    Your words makes sense... However if they had brain to use translator then why would they advertise Korean casino and horse races at NA mabinogi forum? This is forever lasting mystery....

    Bots also usually employ machine learning techinques, that eventually beat captchas, thats why your seeing less and less Captchas that ask you to enter in two random words, and more of those photo ones that ask you to pick out street signs and stuff.

    Yeah I'm...super confused about that too. I put the message in google transl. and it came out sounding a lot like a gambling advertisement. ...why?? Do they....not realize they have the wrong forum? Do they not even realize that literally EVERY OTHER THREAD besides theirs is in English?? I would have thought that that would be quite a tip off that maybe (just maybe) advertising in Korean wasn't going to get them anywhere. I don't think very many people who play NA understand Korean; they aren't going to get a very large customer base here....

    Maybe they'll realize this and go away soon, because they're irritating.

    But yeah... I'm hearing more and more stories about the cult of bots as of lately and it seem to be getting pretty serious because some people were using bots to crash people from spamming the public chat too.

    Just rent an amazon servicebot to guard signups so that people can't do this no matter how many emails they create.
    Not that hard to ask around, just get it over with

    You all should really be taking screenshots of the forums and ingame bots, datestamp them, and email them nexon NA.

    - - - And not as a support ticket. Seeing as this has gone on for days for you guys.

    Plus that wouldn't prevent the influx of threads since some of the other characters would still get through.

    Botting is so advanced that recently in Thailand, they busted a ring of 3 Chinese guys who smuggled smartphones in, set up a small station, programmed the bots to act as people and socialize with people on social media.
    They were paid crap money from their boss, but they did it anyways.
