Welp, looks like some Artifacts were indeed lost to history. Twitter Link

Also a Tweet from The Fire and Disaster Management Agency on current Shuri Castle State of Damage.

Well, Japanese castles usually are wooden structurally, so it's not surprising. They'll be lucky to salvage some things.
Interesting that so many sites with historical artifacts have been burned or threatened by fire this year. We had the fire at Notre Dame, a Brazilian museum burned to the ground, the fire at this castle, and in California the Getty Center was threatened by fire this past week, and the Reagan Library was threatened just the other day. And this zodiac year's element isn't even fire!

I'm honestly hoping to see Nexon KR make a charity driven event for the JP branch, even if it's only to pump out a low class item like the charity wand I can't remember the name of.
With the current political tension between Japan and Korea? That's a death wish.

It's so easy to forget that kinda drama...
Too bad money would have been involved.

    Consolidated Report
    https://pdf.irpocket.com/C3659/D5nz/K8Qz/VVW9.pdf

    ---
North America's revenue fell by 1.5 billion Yen versus the 3rd Quarter of last year. The decline this quarter was as expected primarily due to slowdown in its mobile market and certain mobile games winding down.

Quarter 4 is expected to decline primarily from the same mobile games decelerating.

There has to be more to the story of the 1 Yen sell of Gloops that 21st Century journalism fails to research and report.

I would also factor in the rise in concern over the loot box situation.
Could possibly see that bill glanced over, once all important infrastructure projects have been reviewed by committee. (Use F3 and search with 1629)
Right now, it's probably not going to be as much of a concern to the committee as the Do Not Track Act.
Oldest bill they have listed right now goes to January 15, 2019.
So, probably won't effect Nexon NA this year.
But I'm still speculating within 2-3 years, there could be more press coverage in NA if UK passes legislation.

Well, they would make their adjustments by then, if last year's moves weren't already an indication.

Well, well, well... it looks like Nexon dodged a bullet there with sacking Peria Chronicles.
Not only did the local KR community hate the game, but they would've hated it running on Stadia even more.
I mean, the money lost is still... it could've gone to other games.

Google is disappointing the Stadia community
    Article
    "This is fine."
Andrey Doronichev is in charge of gamer experience at Stadia, Google's fledgling cloud-gaming service. In a conversation with him about the company's confidence in Stadia three months post-launch, Doronichev was unflappable. Though players have been complaining about a lack of updates, technical issues, missing features and a dearth of new games, Doronichev argued the service was still new and Google had actually grown it significantly since launch. Besides, he said, it's not about the daily experience in the early days. It's about the end goal -- the 8K, lag-free, game-streaming utopia that Google promised when it debuted Stadia.
In other words, this is fine.
"This is great," Doronichev continued. "This is what this all about, right? It's not just about some marginal improvements, it's not about a specific feature. It's about a big, bold statement of where we are going. We're going there very, very confidently. So judging by the velocity so far, if anything, I'm more confident in our ability to deliver and over-deliver."
Before launch, Google outlined a litany of features that still haven't made their way to Stadia: family sharing, iOS support, hardware-free subscription options, social features, a consistent lineup of new games, and in browsers, 4K mode, Google Assistant functionality and wireless play with the Stadia controller. Same goes for mobile devices with that last one. Since launch, Google has expanded Stadia to all Chromecast Ultras (it was locked to Stadia-specific devices for a while), added achievements and dropped its first multiplayer feature, Stream Connect, into Ghost Recon Breakpoint. And, just this week, Google expanded Stadia to 18 new Android devices, meaning the service isn't exclusive to Pixel phones any longer.
Meanwhile, Stadia's competitors, Microsoft xCloud and NVIDIA's GeForce Now, support a broad swath of Android devices.

What did the local KR-population hate about P-C ? And if it's too lengthy to list then what about the top 3 issues ?
That was certainly a waste of 8$million but if something useful learned from it then at least it wouldn't be a total waste...
It's so easy to forget that kinda drama...

Yeah, a company wouldn't go tumbling stubbornly to death with an investment if the feedback did not come back positive.

Yeah, a company wouldn't go tumbling stubbornly to death with an investment if the feedback did not come back positive.

It was an overall "meh" kind of game, very unpolished after so many years of development.
(Pretty, but the battle system was not very fun.)
Stadia was already facing backlash during PC Pioneer Test, which intended for eventual Stadia release.
(As hinted by the official Peria Chronicles YouTube "Following" page.)
So if you couple that with the poor PC feedback, it was a wise investment to shut it down altogether.
