G15 Quest Broken

The quest requires us to get to LvL 2 Commerce for Belvast but the stocks are all overvalued and lose you Ducats.

How can we gain levels for it if we don't earn any ducats from commercing from Belvast to Tara.

    Try another route? I went for Belvast to Emain Macha and then vice versa for that quest, but admittedly it's been a while.

    I have a non generation quest to get Belvast to 8 which I've had for about 6 years now. Getting to level 2 for G15 shouldn't be too hard, but commerce seriously needs updates.

    We've been giving suggestions to upgrade commerce for a while. Commerce markets have never recovered from the bot spam from its release and we've had years of bad prices in some areas.

    No I am being serious, the commerce in Belvast for NAO server. The values for me personally are all blue, there is no way for me to hit level 2. The only way to gain a profit shipping something from Belvast is Merchant Rating 7 item.

    I will post an imgur showing what I mean.

    That's probably because of the people who were spamming Belvast commerce to get the Tory Ravine Seal Breaker title. Just give it time to recover.

    I've never seen it this bad before.. usually the Dark Swords are at least worth some change, but even that's in the negative.. Makes me really wondering how I got to Lv. 6 Belvast Commerce, has it always been this bad? O_O

    Wow... I've never seen prices that bad before.
    Probably the only option is to wait for the prices to normalize over time.

    On the other hand, not that it's worth it if all you want is level 2 Belvast, but there are those commerce purchase price discount enchanted accessories, if you could get a hold of those it would help. It's probably too expensive an alternative, though.
    Or maybe you could break at least a small profit by using Commerce Guarantee Letters, which you could buy off others.

    But it might be prudent to just put G15 on the backburner while the prices normalize from all the spammage.

    We need to take commerce enchants out of the game. They’re the primary reason things go blue across the board, and why commerce was a nightmare.

    It’s a conceptually bad idea.

    Really, the only way to fix commerce is to add an automated supply and demand feature and allow prices to move by themselves based off an actual rate of consumption. And if possible, add in certain events that would affect supply and demand.
    Right now, the current system is that after a price reset, people spam the market with that type of goods until it is no longer profitable. That supply of goods in the market sits there until the next reset which is why these issues are happening with commerce.
