Status quo week, nothing is scheduled to end this week, so carry on in case anyone wonders why Leinei hasn't posted the weekly update.

Carry on.

I'm still around. Like Ken said, nothing's going away this week, so I didn't make a post. Only thing that's changing is the Master Plan stuff.

Just a warning, I've got some real life stuff going on that's been hitting me like a truck, but I'll still try to keep the Heads-Ups going. The stuff is tagged back to some stuff that was going on last year that we're FINALLY getting to.

I know, but it's one of the things I can do that helps others out.

Short version, last year, my mom died and I've been trying to handle her estate since, with a "family" member causing a lot of trouble in doing so and the pandemic didn't help either. We're just now getting things going.

    Remember, he's a "business guy"; it's probably a hostile take-over.

Oh that's too bad; I hope her passing was relatively peaceful. So, your mom made you executor? That's the kind of thing where at first you think "Wow, they thought this well of me" but then when you get into the thick of it you think "why did they do this to me; what did I ever do to them?" These things always take time; it's normal. My grandfather died of slow acting cancer, he had plenty of foreknowledge of his fate and it's timing. He had plenty of time then to get his affairs in order, to dot all the i's and cross all the t's, and did. Everything was completely in order, and it still took over a year to settle things. I think part of it might be that the estate still owes taxes in the tax year that they expire. Since, the various levels of government are always paid first and completely, everyone else has to wait.

I'm sorry to hear that Leinei. I hope things work out without further issues.

All Leinei's base are completely loyal, to the point of being blindly so.

The main issue I've been having regarding handling the estate is the "family" member I mentioned. Were it not for them, this would have been handled a while ago. -_-

Also, I got the Zero Wing reference, but the last one about my base being completely loyal, I didn't catch. XD

Estates issues can be really taxing. Make sure to take care of yourself as well.
