Just get used to your thousand-yard stare
I just assume my character blinks when I do so I never see it!
They just stare. A very blank, empty, soulless stare.
A stare so empty that enemies attack on sight out of pure fear, not wanting to gaze into the abyss any longer.
Making friends with residents of Erinn made difficult because they find the eyes to be so creepy.
For if one stares into the eyes of a Milletian long enough, they will stare into an endless abyss.
An abyss that seeks to destroy all that dare oppose it, all for an attempt to gain power and riches.
...or it could just be a limitation of the game's engine. Think of it what you will.
but puppets are in engine and blink ?
Anyway a milletian can go years without eating, and doesn't even know how to die. Maybe we just forgot blinking is something you're supposed to do too.
Our human disguises aren't entirely convincing.
Or alt+9 if you don't want to catch flies with your mouth.
And actually...
All expressions on faces are interchangeable because of a small extra transparent texture layer on the avatar's face. I'm surprised not a lot of you didn't notice this when zoomed up on other characters. Basically it IS possible. They would just have to animate the facial textures which allow us to change styles. If I had access to the coding and textures I could do it. I use to make animated textures on Second Life. We could simulate blinking pretty easily.
Think of it like having a gif on your avatar's face.
^_^
You get a like for that.
I'm jealous of my owl's ability to blink!
A Weeping Angel in Dunbarton would pretty much be quantum-locked the moment they spawned in, at least until the next server-maintenance.
Who's to say they're not already among us? Better not put any closed eyes on your character.
