The beauty of a dozen Sky Lanterns ascending to the stars is something one must see for themselves, and Ascon of Port Cobh wants to make sure the night sky is lit up with as many lanterns as possible. The more you craft, the more you give out and the more you release to the sky, the more prizes you'll get!

i'll ask since I don't completely understand: how many skill training seals can I get per day? Just the one? or one from each npc? and are they tradeable?

You can still gift the other NPCs after completing the quest for more Skill Training Seals, just not the first one. So yeah, technically one from each NPC, 4 seals total. I believe the seals aren't tradeable though.

@papatulus if I remember correctly from last year, I think the quest is once a day and you can only choose 1 person/1 skill training seal per day. I don't think they're tradeable. Saying this here for those who read and wonder the same thing.

I thought it was only 1 npc per day?

I take it not tradeable means I can't shift them between characters on my account either?

it was only 1 npc a day last time we had this event and it is only 1 npc this time as well. read the event description under How to Participate: at dot 4 "Selected characters can give a stack of 10 Sky Lanterns per day to one of four NPC's near Ascon to complete the daily quest and earn a reward."

How do you give them the lanterns? I've made ten but no one is taking them, and it doesn't seem like my quest updated. I'm confused (I've never done this event before)

do kits drop from every mob or just >similar?

also, for those wondering, the skylantern action doesn't count towards releasing one in cobh

You only need to gift 1 NPC per day for the quest, but you can gift all 4 of them for the seals per day.

False. I've tested giving another NPC my Sky Lanterns, and he accepted it as well as giving me another seal. If you reread it, they said you can give one of the four NPC's to complete the daily quest, not only one. Though I guess Nexon has a bad habit of wording things

You have to talk to them twice, and there will be an option to Give Sky Lantern.

The kits drop from similar and above your combat power

For the event do you have to be in a party of 5 or more? or can you just do it beside a group of other players and release it when the in-game notice tells you to release lantern at 10pm?

You just need to be there with other players. No party needed.
Once it is 10 PM, wait for the on-screen text to appear and use a lantern.

Does anyone have full images of the outfits yet? Are they tradable? Having midterms come up next week so I'm going to be busy from now until then, so I might have to buy them from other players unless I have time to try for the items myself later on.
