Stressin' Out Your Squires!
Since it's so easy to remove the stress of your squires, I never bothered to get up to max stress to see what exactly happens.
Until just now.
Turns out there's some unique dialogue for it!
But also, Shuan's Help entry for Stress also differs if a Squire is actually full on stress (80).
Though I've only just got Dai's reactions at the moment.
When trying to start training while at 80 stress:
When trying to send on a Mission at 80 stress:
As the messages might insinuate, you can't send them on Missions or start training while they're at 80+ stress, so I'm not sure if you can even go above 80 stress. (maybe if you sent them out at 79 stress and they failed and gained +2 stress.)
It's not useful to be at such high stress, unless you want them to fail missions more often so you can maybe play the Treatment mission more often.
Even so, I wonder what the other squires have to say when they're too stressed out.
Quick, go mistreat your squires!
For science!

You can safely get them up to 49 stress with no adverse side effects.
50 stress is when they experience their first Mission success rate penalty... of 1%!
Funnily, the success rate doesn't go down steadily to 0.
I think at 79 stress, the success rate's like 60%. Then at 80 it BOOMs down to 0%.
And I didn't notice any difference in Training at stress above 50. Except of course at 80 where he refused to do anything.
But training him is actually the only thing I was doing, so that's why I decided to finally see what would happen at 80 stress. xD
Also, the Stress number's color changes to yellow at 60 stress.
Was still yellow at 80
My squires have been having taking it really easy since I normally counsel them at around 20 stress. Thanks to Iyasenu's 'research' though, it looks like they're more resilient than first thought.
Hehehehehe. Get ready for some more training Kaour I want you to be able to do push ups with that Colossus Marionette on your back after this.
...and making his stomach what? Is he stress eating?
He's just being dramatic.
I feel so bad though. Who would wanna do this to him? ;3;
Though speaking of stress, don't try to Counsel a squire after you've dismissed them.
I swear, I like Dai!
Elsie's scary
But, she's also interesting, especially after you've gotten her to Likeability Lv 5.
She's got various reactions to stuff, like if you try to go out with her after you went out with someone else that week, or even talked to a Squire before her.
Even her "Nearby Rumor" keyword response changes depending on who you went out with.
Or, if you try to Counsel, Manage Training, or Go Out with her after you've dismissed her.
Though, at the moment she's not in my Squad so I can't raise her stress so see her reactions.
To date, and to help keep us supplied.
Because we helped train them.
you know I haven't done squires and my friends always said it was like a sim-dating game. I just thought they were joking or something but now I see they were serious lol
Kanna was sent out at 78 stress, which brought her to 79.
Then she failed her mission and gained 2 stress, to 81.
And the Stress color DOES change again.
From yellow:
To red:
Nothing else different. And I'm out of ideas on how you can possibly get stress any higher, given that they refuse to train or go on missions at this point.
Anyways, Kanna's reactions:
Training:
Mission:
Then Logan's reactions:
Training:
Mission:
Now I'm interested in what Elsie, Eirlys, and Kaour have to say...
But I'm still doing stuff with my current squad of 3, so I can't dismiss them to re-recruit the others.
You can always make another character to get them.
