Also, while Gems are far and wide the quintessential "dud" prizes from several events, at least hold on to them for your weapon, mainly the diamonds. Always save those diamonds.
The moment I got both genders of the armor was when I stopped with the point event entirely to focus on the Giants. I don't see them extending it, but stay diligent. You'll get your wig.
