  • New Skill Idea - Chakra Shield

Hello Everyone! Gholdenghoulash again, this time with an idea for a skill that would I assume be classified as perhaps a hidden or a fighter skill.

The skill would function essentially identical to Manashield except use stamina. Will would be the main stat gained instead of int. It would prevent the regaining of mp during its use and the quest for it would have to include finding a male character. (rather than female like mana shield)

That is pretty much it, as always feedback is appreciated!

  • Skill Idea for Merchant Talent - Gem Toss

Hello everyone! So the topic of suggesting improvements that can be made to the commerce system. It reminded me of a Skill idea I had awhile back, so now on my way back from Campfire I sit here and hammer this out.

I would like to see another combat skill for us Merchants besides Gold Strike. While I love Gold Strike, by itself we are left highly vulnerable, forcing ourselves to hire mercenaries as protection when bandits try to ambush us.

I heard my buddy Madoc in cobh, whom I help gather nails for everyday for some coin, tell me that he is thinking about a new quest. That if I reached rank 5 commerce mastery and that if I managed to bring him a 10cm size of every single type of gem he might be willing to teach me a new skill.

It would utilize the nearest gem from my inventory based on its location in the inventory and its effect and damage would be based on size and type. He didn't go into full details but he did explain the following:

    Ruby - Fire attack
    Aquamarine - Water attack
    Star Sapphire - Lightning attack
    Topaz - Ice attack

He did not say anything about the following gems which gives potential flexibility as to what effects they might contain.
    Jasper -
    Spinel -
    Garnet -
    Diamond -

If this skill happens then Metallurgy will maybe have to be a skill potentially that can be included as a merchant talent skill whereas Mining would stay as part of the blacksmith talent.

The master title could for example then increase the chance that gems are gathered through metallurgy and metal conversion.

Another thing semi related that would be nice is the ability to put all gems of the same size and type for sale at once when setting up a shop in game.
