I hope you don't mind that I put your charas together ovo' I thought it would be cute to do a sitting on a wall together thing where danny's chara is pouting at something mariel's chara said *^* your charas were adorableee guys, in fact... I realized both of them had a star somewhere so thats where I got the idea haha~ anyway I really enjoyed drawing them!! ...I was also testing out a new art app i found XD

Sadly, I had to rush this drawing on a day long plane ride but I really wanted to try out traditional art again after like a year of neglect XD So this is my mabi family, of which I am the youngest getting a piggy-back ride~ We consist of an elf, a human reindeer, and a not-really-chubby santa claus xP

I decided to bring both my mabi character and my violin named Dream (I swear she's my friend *^*) into this piece. I was thinking about how Christmas looks like to me ideally, and that image involved a serene and calm scene where I can hear my violin "sing" even though the cold should technically kill the sound and tuning LOL Basically, an appreciation for the journey my violin gave me and how much I just simply love the sound! X3

@NyuuHokusai THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I read your post and oh my gosh that is the nicest thing someone has ever said about my art, I was (and still am) mind blown you love it so much and so, in reply to that, I decided to skip the simple shading I planned on and went all out LOL so I kinda ended up drawing for several more hours than I originally intended oops XD I loved every minute of it though! Unfortunatelyyyy I'm still an amateur at all things background related atm (i am particularly sorry I can't get water to look like water...ovo;;) but I tried my best so I hope you still like it

ALSO, I ended up changing the color of the bunny umbrella's bunny and bows from dark green to blue to match the bear if that's alright? I also thought a light purpley-white looked quite nice on your character so I capitalized more on the purple too ovo Sooo basically, your reply inspired me to try several new things out and has been my driving motivation over my art block so THANK YOU!! I am channeling my extra energy for the art contest~ Do you draw too? (if you do, wanna enter too? x3)

Interestingly enough, I also remembered where I thought I saw you before... in that adorable manga panel art shop you manage XD and coincidentally my name is also Annie XDD (btw I find that the colors look better on my phone than on my laptop... O:... more true to the colors I intended XD)
