  • Changes to equipment viewing

I'm pretty sure this was on the old forums for a while, but whatever, it still needs changing.

As can be sen from the image above, details of this lance are cut off by the bottom of the screen. This happens because tooltip that pops up when hovering over an item has a fixed resolution and doesn't in any way account for screen resolution. This is clearly not a good idea as it makes checking certain items impossible for certain people.

Here are several ways to fix this issue:

    1. Flavour text goes on the bottom
All demonic lances have the same item description so letting that be cut off isn't a big deal; I can read the description from another demonic lance and it will be identical. The same cannot be said of special upgrades, artisan upgrades and reforges.

    2. Widen the tooltips
If the tooltip were twice as wide, it would take fewer lines to fit all of the lance's details so cutting off the bottom would be less of an issue.

    3. Scaleable tooltips
If the tooltip is taller than the game's current vertical resolution, it should shrink itself down to match.

    4. Multi-column tooltips
This one's pretty self-explanatory. If all the details don't fit in one column, use two.

    4. Add A Scrolling Function
Again, pretty self explanatory. Thanks to AlmostNotSuper for suggesting it.

    5. Add a scrolling function
As suggested by AlmostNotSuper. This is fairly self explanatory.

The dual gun tutorial was so hard! Shoot the enemy 6 times? That's impossible! He would run up to me and hit me after 4 hits so I had to retry that lesson so many times.

I remember being stuck at that until I managed to kill an enemy with the first 4 shots allowing me to land the final 2 on a different enemy.

  • Allow us to choose which quests to start/advance.

The bigger issue is that G19 starts at all without requiring players to have either gotten to chronologically or consciously choose to start it. This combined with the fact that it's not in anyway flagged as being more difficult than G1 or being later in the main story makes it perfect trap for a new player.

Now what we need is a graphical update to make it look a little newer and smoother with less polygons for us all

    Do you mean more polygons?

    I went human because I wanted to be a better gunner but I kinda regret that because honestly with elves having better magic and giants having better strength which one would actually be better ??? Idk fam you tell me ; - ;

PS: I believe gunner is balance between STR and INT but I don't think it really leans either way from my experience so please correct me if I'm wrong

Elves aren't better at magic though. As far as int goes, both humans and elves can hit the cap reasonably (though not quickly). If the cap were gone, humans would have the highest potential int. In terms of total int and str, humans are first, followed by giants, and then elves.
