This bug happens every time we have this event format but no one has been able to figure out how to replicate it 100% so it never gets fixed

Edit - Bonus issue:
The "Have a pet summoned for 30 min" challenge says 0/2, implying that you can do it twice and get 5 coins each time for a total of 10, but it actually clears after the first 30 minutes and you only get 5.



I've only been logged in for 34 minutes since the reset (you can see from the play timer that I've gained 1 count for the 30-minute login challenge plus a few mins towards the second count) and my pet has been summoned for exactly 30 minutes out of its 92-minute summon time. The event window jumped from 0/2 to "complete".

On the first day I had a pet summoned for the entire duration of Nowhere to Run and it didn't count. Luckily I was able to summon a different pet and that counted, but still, something's off about this req.

It was not broken at the time this was posted and during my reply. The picture I posted is no longer uploaded, but it contained a successful completion of the exact PTJ the OP was trying to do. The OP obviously simply misunderstood the quest requirements. As I said, other people were able to enter the cooking competition just fine during that time period.

It could very well be broken now, as we've had a few hundred more patches since the start of this thread, and I wouldn't know the current status of the quest as I haven't entered the cooking competition since 2017.

If you're new to this game, you might not realise yet that things regularly break around here, and features that once worked 3 years ago might not be working today, but they certainly did work back then when this thread was being discussed.

Every day I work overtime is another day I fall behind in this event. They better not patch that feeding thing, I'm going to need it since they said an extension is unlikely.

Edit: ngl the only thing about this event that I'm looking forward to is rping as a massive sheep


Edit edit: Alt with neglected sheep is playing as a petite sheep, so the RP mission is based on the actual size of your sheep and not the duration of the event... which means I won't get my massive sheep RP unless I start catching up big time

Poly has the best ideas, this is exactly what they should be doing. The boxes should drop a coin on top of the rng roll for junk, and the event NPC should always have a shop to exchange for guaranteed prizes.

Some of these recent event boxes have been awful. I threw as many alts as I could at the Harmon event and some of them didn't pull even a single tree. And what is wrong with these Baa Baa Boxes? The drop rates are so bad I'm sure there'll be people who won't pull the two fashion equips even if they play it daily.
