Finding stuff like this brings a tear to my eye.
You have no idea how proud I am to see this event carried forward.
Even if it no longer has the same framework, it touches my heart to see people passionate about it.
Dont stress yourself too much and remember to make events around your budget.
Dont push to have seven events if you can only fund three.
I went on to run a monthly event in Fallen Earth for 2 years and I could only fund a lotto and a destruction derby with maybe 2 volunteers a month. Sometimes it was just me trying to keep 80 people busy (any more and the server crashed). I think I learned a lot from doing monthly events, then weekly events for other games. Currently working on setting up a sushi bar RP hub in Secret World. It's tough work, but I love it.
I look forward to seeing what events our server continues to maintain until server shutdown, because I love hearing about everyone trying new ways to have fun and encourage people to meet strangers and maybe make new friends.
