Here's the steps I've taken so far:
- Start or Restart Chapter 2 and complete each and every quest until Gen 8.
- Complete the quest "Mirror of Memory" of the first section of Gen 8 and obtain the broken mirror.
- Wait for the quest to be given to you.

At this point, I'm unsure if I'm just being unlucky, but normally, you shouldn't recieve the quest and therefore get stuck in progression.

Of course, the expected result should be that after an in-game day passes (Or instantly, I suppose), you'd recieve the quest "Voight's Friend" and that you'd be on your merry way to complete Gen 8.

I was looking at the Tara and Tailteann shadow missions that appear in the society sponsorship quests. I wanted to be able to look at the daily Tara and Tailteann missions and then try to get the same mission as a Society Sponsorship quest. To do that I need to build a table showing which level Society Sponsorship quest to select for each Shadow mission. I don't have a complete table yet, but based on the data I've got so far, it looks like around about 1/5 of the Tara/Tail Shadow Missions appear at each of the levels A, B, D and E, and that all Tara/Tail Shadow Missions are available at level C. That is, about 4/5 of the quests appear at two levels: Level C and one other level.

I'm guessing that someone started with a list of all Shadow Mission quests, and then made 5 mutually exclusive lists from it for the Society Sponsorship levels A to E. They could then copy these 5 lists into the 5 appropriate tables in the game database that would make them appear as Society Sponsorship quests. I am now at the end of the generation and can say that this wasn't a one-time occurrence as I've had this glitch on her every time she seemed to be doing her "neutral" expression as her "blushing, angry, etc" expressions were fine.
(b)So I'd say to recreate the bug maybe just talking to Eirawen would do the trick? I haven't spoken to her outside of G16 yet so maybe it's strictly bound to that generation in which case to trigger it you'd need to do the generations quests.
(c)As to what I expect to happen instead of this (kinda creepy) glitch would be her to have a normal mouth hahaha

This happens with every object I've tried placing it near. I figure it's a transparency issue but similar objects with transparency on my homestead don't have this issue. (like the constellation mobiles)

A. This sound issue is much more than just an annoyance. A lot of people rely on sound cues and this bug makes no other audio play when it's happening.
B. You can recreate this with one person using fury of light and high erg flame burst on a few mobs. This happens in Crom to a MUCH worse degree because of the increased number of mobs and players using fury of light and flame burst.
C. The sounds should just play and not overlap and cut off one another.

This happened to my entire Crom party last night and I was able to recreate it in Feth today.

It said something like "you can now advance Stomp" and there was another word after that. "Stomp" something. The other word started with a "D" and was a bit on the long side, but I can't remember how to spell it, nor was I able to finish reading it and didn't really recognize it. I did poke around every skill I have and can have (though I only have three unlearned ones) and obviously didn't find such a skill, but stomp does clearly spell out Giants to me, annnd I'm an elf player.

I know they are planning to do some skill revamps for all races I believe, so I'm guessing maybe they're revamping Giant skills and it was probably just a bug related to it (though I'm not sure if that's even in the works yet), but I'm really curious if anyone else had that popup and if they perhaps know what that was about. I did get the popup twice, after I advanced my glyph skill and hit another class-rank for it, shortly after the first popup.
