I'm trying to advance MK A>9 but? If I don't need to purchase a book then who am I supposed to go to? I've looked at wikis and guides and forums galore but I can't seem to find a clear answer! I figured maybe I should wait for a new quest to pop up but it's been much longer than an hour and I'm getting impatient. SO. I generally get 4000 contribution (not generally worth the time to get the 20 smashes), and he normally sits at 500~1200.

Any suggestions, and/or does it even still drop the manual?

Any recommendations? how did you do it?

EDIT: this wasn't an "help me" post but more an analysis about this dan test, i know there's not a real "right way" to do this dan test due to bad game design, it was to gather player experiences and how they went around the test problems to be able to finish it successfully, which contemplate the possibility to have no solutions but then discuss about the dan test flags and issues.
