"Eweca is rising" - The source of mana in Erinn

    Back then moongates only worked at night and only to a certain area each game day. The moongates were powered by the mana from Eweca.

    Wow this is a pretty old thread, but as a mabinogi lore junkie I have a few things to add. First of all, because of the constant change of hands in development teams, Eweca and Ladeca have gone through several identity crisis. There have been many cases of in game items/lore confusing the two moons, such as the Eweca Orb Gachapon featuring Ladeca.
    Another thing I'd like to point out is the confusion between Erg and Mana. Erg, which is considered to be the life force of Erinn, is responsible for the ability to utilize magic, where in contrast, Dark Erg is responsible for the ability to utilize alchemy. Alchemy is basically Fomorian magic (that was never supposed to be used by humans). But where does Erg, and Dark Erg come from? They come from Palala, and Luitalata, the sun and dark sun respectively. Personally I believe mana actually stems from Palala and not Eweca (or Ladeca), but because we know how Moons work, it is very likely that Eweca REFLECTS the power of Erg off the sun Palala.
    As for the initial question though, it has always been Eweca stated as the source of mana regenerating, and anyone who claimed it was Ladeca was either confused, or did not actually read any in game text and probably spam clicked through everything.
