Does Erg exp follow an item?

Yes, the Erg EXP is tied to the item.
Although, gaining Erg EXP isn't the main issue with the Erg system, it's the uncap item sacrifice requirements.
Stuff like Ancient Monster Cores, Divine Mineral Fragments, and Desecrated Charm Chunks.
Not to mention the other stuff.
Erg EXP is as easy as finding a weapon as a drop/reward/fished item and reforging it.
1 Line is over 300 erg exp.
2 Lines is over 7,000.
3 Lines is over 50,000!
So I think it'd be a little difficult to sell anything purely for its Erg EXP value, unless it's a 3 Line reforged item, and even then, gaining EXP is still not the main hurdle.
