    It'd be pretty easy to do. Sure why not. I'm not particularly a fan of the instrument as it has a weak sound but this guy

    I'd say makes it rock. Perhaps if they exchanged that Gawdawful pick for a western style plectrum they might be able to uncover some phrasing not yet realizable on the instrument. I'm no Weeboo but I see no reason not to vote yes. So, Yes!

    Three things:
    1) Sure why not!
    2) The Chinese music scale is quite similar to the blues scale. I bet you could take this video and put it overtop of a blues rhythm section playing in the correct key and it would totally work.
    3) I see that eastern and western "fine" musicians share the same annoying habit: how they perform. I truly detest when musicians do these dramatic sweeping staccato chopping motions or trance-like swaying as they exhibit, let's call them ecstasy rather than using the 'O' word, faces. Just play the friggen tune already and save the rest of it for when you're at home.
