Is there any way to tell if you have collected a 5 star fish or food in your journal?

    You can look up the sizes for 5 star fish on the wiki.
    For in-game, stars show when you collected every item in the specific journal.

    I keep track in my ever-growing mabi spreadsheet; a column with the 5-star requirement and then a column for each character.
