might not be all that great, if you think about it. Canonically, when we met and fought him, we didn't even use the Brionac, or demigod, or the crusader skills, or divinity.

I'm pretty sure, canonically speaking, divinity would be leagues above what he would be capable of.

We should probably just tell him that we've had tangos with gods before, and we can turn into a nascent divinity form :D

Then again, there's a bit of a plot hole here: when we were to pick up the artifacts, we had to use shield of trust (divine light) to nullify the repulsive effects. Buuuuut... we have the Caliburn within us... That's as close to the power of Aton Cimeni as you can get (which kinda makes C6 as a whole kind of a plot hole).

There's a slight difference, as Balor himself was also technically a god - just different from beings like Nuadha and Morrighan. Moreover there are beings that can rival the gods in terms of power, like The Dragons and The Fairy King/Queen. Cichol is also described by Morrighan in G1 as the 'heir of balor', meaning he likely inherited his power from Balor himself - stating thus that Balor did have the powers of a god.

It's also why balor wants us to succeed, as he feels we're someone he can finally go all out against and potential still lose. Lugh needed the help of several deities and powerful nature spirits to trap and defeat Balor, whereas we're holding up against him all by ourselves.

Also our 'tango's" with other gods is mainly us holding out against them. Fighting against Nuadha was mainly holding out long enough for Morrighan to appear and use us alongside her own powers to bring Nuadha down, as she was actually losing against him by herself. macha was not really even fully there, as Millia hadn't yet fully ascended with Lia Fail yet and thusly her powers were extremely limited. Talvish wasn't really going all out against us either, as he likely could have just done some crazy stuff like stopping time if he so wanted - he is the living sword of Aton Cimeni after all. Finally, our fight against manannan wasn't even manannan fighting seriously either, as he just wasn't really interested in helping the black moon. (we're still leagues above most people however, as we were able to brave his wands with minimal effort whereas both bhatair and murielle were able to keep themselves from being blown away.)

As for using Caliburn, remember that we may have Brionac but that doesn't necessarily mean Caliburn will listen to us, as it seeks self presevation above all else right now. Staying in its own created world (the shadow realm) without being disturbed is just that, since as long as we hold Brionac nothing else can disturb it. there's no doubt it my mind it can probably snap balor out of existence if it wanted as it was used to write The laws of magic and physics for the world but it, honestly, has no reason to do so.

I wouldn't put it that we are all by our selves, because we too needed spirits, aka Paladin, we have Demigod which is the power of, Neamhain, Cichol, Morrighan, Crusader Skills, Nascent Divinity... which is a completely different worlds powers, and Brionac.... all of this is wrapped up within us. If we didn't have all of that power, we would be squished. Granted we would come back but then it would be an infinite cycle of squishednesss
also we can now add techniques which, personal assumption, is from Hymerark

while true i'm talking about how lugh needed several major deities actively supporting him, whereas paladin is mainly the spirit of order acting as a form of spirit armor made physical. Dark knights are pretty much independent as the power of the dark knight comes from within the individual, whereas elf and giant beast forms are more like enhancements of certain aspects. (one could even say they're low-key therianthropy.) As for demigod, they're powers that are basically claimed fully by the milletian, as neamhain herself lost the majority of her divine power to nuadha and yet we still possess our own version of her abilities. same with Morrighan and Cichol. They are powers we have made our own.

Crusader skills are said to be the actualized desires of the individual based on their own personal feelings of failure and regret - their 'sin' as it were. so I don't necessarily count it as being an outside power, but merely an 'extension' of the soul. Nascent divinity is, oddly enough, the most individualistic power we have as it is literally the combination of all the powers we have gathered over time fused into a new power while hijacking power from another source - in a way, a hybrid of two worlds that are naturally repellent to one another.

As for brionac, the caliburn really hasn't done diddly squat since it got to its cushy altar in the shadow realm so i don't really count it much. o3o

but the point being is that we have earned each and every individual power, either by claiming it or retaining it despite opposition otherwise. we denied becoming a full god should we decide to side with nuadha and yet now we have done so by ourselves. (Nascent = "just coming into existence and beginning to display signs of future potential.", thus Nascent Divinity is New Divinity. we are a brand new baby god.) Lugh, on the other hand, is basically Anakin Skywalker - the chosen one. He was the prophesied hero who would save everyone and as such was given the trust of several powerful deities and entities in order to do what he needed to do. he even went all Darth Vader after all that. Not to belittle him, as his accomplishments are definitely worthy of his legend but he's definitely not on the caliber The Milletian is at now.
