"Deliver Iron Ore" society quest-Buggy

The Society Sponsorship quest, "Deliver Iron Ore" is either lacking information, or has a glitch/bug.
Mining the ores (per direction, with a pickaxe) in Barri does not count toward the required 10 ores.

If there is a specific location where the ores should be gathered, this should be stated in the request.
