A Final Salute to the Good Ship Alexina

Ahoy, Alexinans!
We are reminded that all creation, and all creations therein, are ultimately transient in nature, by these: the last fleeting moments that we have left with: our vessle to glory, our vessle to fortune, our vessle to comradery, our home. But, before we finally strike her colours, for her sunset cerimony, and she is set under tow, to be broken up at the scraper's yards, let us now raise our wrists and quoff, a hearty mug of grog, in salute to our beloved server: once the youngest, now the oldest, the longest lasting, and yet, the finest of the originals.
To Alexina!
Let us remember her fondly and with pride. Let us celebrate her golden age and rejoice that we survived the lean years when, in her innocense, she was made humble by the mistakes of others.
Let us fête our good ship; whom yarely saw us through becalmed and tempest sea alike, whom always conned true in cloudy or foggy weather, whose bilge pumps never failed us when she took on brackish water, and whom faithfully bore us onward to our dreams whenever we received a letter of marque.
And so, let us sally forth, unto Erinn, where, at long last, we will join with our Naowegian bretheran and show our fellow Erinnites how to play this game.
