Once I get in the shadow mission, I'll talk to both the characters and nothing will happen. Why is this happening?

    and as usual NOBODY knows anything smh about this bug or remotely has an answer it just MAGICALLY works for everyone else

    1. Talk to Avelin at East Scathach Beach Springs
    - At this point you will obtain keyword 11. Alban Knights Training Grounds.
    - Talk to Altam and use the new keyword. Only then will the third option in the next step's dialogue be available for you to progress.
