I just got this piece and am not sure what colors I should dye it in. The 3 parts are: cape, shirt (that blue part), and the rest of the clothing.

Also, I was wondering what I should wear as a hat. Should I go with Vampire Hunter hat, or that Wizard Hat with the feather, or some sort of Beret if I can find one?

Thanks so much guys!

Vampire Hunter hat would look pretty interesting. As a word of advice also, Don't use Pure white or pure black when dyeing because they can de-texture parts.

Thanks for the tips! I'm glad that pure white/pure white wasn't recommended because I'm too poor to buy those right now hahaha but I'm not sure what color scheme I should go for

I-t...it...c-an't...It can't be! Someone finally showing the flaws of pure colors?!

    *breathes heavily*

I don't know you sir, but I love you.

@Pandaninja You can try your dye palette using this Korean simulator:

@Erydanos Five years of playing this game actively and Loving Fashion can really teach things xD!

@Splatulated "Pure" or "Neon" colors detexturize most items as of late due to how they're coded. Items that have a "soft" greyscale for colors (one example would be the Female Elven Wedding Dress from the Doki-Doki event) tend to lose their fine details because of the high saturation on dyes. Normally, for items with "hard" greyscale only lose their textures with black and similar. One example is hairs, where picking pure black removes all the defined greyscale lines because they're set to be darker than the set color, and because black is the darkest, they default to the same color and have no capability to make any texture differences.

Soft Greyscale works the same way, but for neon colors, which white is one of them, they set to be extremely similar to the neon color, but not different enough to retain the texture due to how the game loads the outfit.

Here is the best example (and one that makes me laugh to this day)

I got this Casywn hair coupon from the recent attendance event and it came out like this

Counterpoint: Some of the worst fashionogi items are simply dreadful and gaudily ornamented, so you can use pure white/black to hide the tackiest details.

For example, the Emerald Classic Celtic Ensemble has this ridiculous bust section that's sticks out from a seperate waistcoat section.

I don't feel the need to put on boobie fetish wear, so I dyed both sections black to turn it into a single simple bodice.

The dress already has ornamentation around the bottom of the skirt and the sleeves, which is more than enough detail. I'm not a walking rococo cabinet.
