Amplified skill seals

Well this was a great disappointment I tried these amplified skill seals to get my BFO R1 to the title and it appears they don't work....

Is this some kind of joke? or is it a bug?

    Don't know why you would spend that kind of money for seals on the overture master, at least when you consider skills like magic craft and engineering exist. Not that it works that way as you know already but just curious.

    I could be wrong, but I believe they can.

    Edit: According to the wiki, they can't be, oof. Only reason I'd see worth in them.

    Well at least they can get you to Dan 1 magic craft.
