    Talent balancing is as unsolvable a problem as game race balancing is. In the case of diverse parties tackling a raid together then everything is fine, everyone gets a role to play. But for PvPers you'll never get full satisfaction. Either range will be better than close combat, say, or it will not. If it is better then melee based PvPers will complain (say giants complaining that elves can just keep shooting and they can never get close enough to do anything) or the opposite where elves complain that their bows are useless since giants can just charge in and kill them like one punch man. You cant find balance; one will always be better, if you are PvP focused or a solo player. So the game design decision has to be made about this or any other talent: will it be a solo capable talent or just a support one. For talents like Bard, of course it is a support talent, but no one is in the dark about it, so no one is upset. Archery is a combat talent and the natural inclination is to think of it a solo capable talent. Okay, you can make it so, but it won't be long before there's complaints (probably by PvPers) that bow is too powerful. This means that some combat talents have to be seen as support ones. But if that talent is your passion and you prefer solo play then you wont be happy. The problem is for one combat talent made good means another one becomes obsolete, since one will always be batter. Whatever you do you can't win.

    Dex is not totally worthless since all talents besides magic get defense piercing from it and I guess injury rate but when do we ever need injury much anymore instead of G1's final boss? As for Will the extra crit rate is good for mobs with higher prot oh as well as more injury rate although the extra Magic defense is nice.

    Every stat is a nice addition to me even if not for archery or magic no matter how little.

    that comment is before chains lol also nother neat thing is that dex and luck are the only stats that aren't affected by pot poison
