While I wouldn't mind seeing humans get a couple of unique abilities, I would like to see all 3 races maybe get each a unique talent tree. Maybe a bit much to ask for, but I would like to see the idea. Other than that.

*Give Elves... the most Dex based race... the ability to duel wield like everybody else. NPC elves have it for crying out loud. Furthermore, why restrict what types of weapons you can dual wield? Perhaps throw in a skill that lets you dual-wield other weapon types when you get high enough. Throw in a bit of a sword skill rework as well.

*Elf Revamp... seriously... My main is a human but elves have had probably the least work in total. I already know a number in the comments agree here.

*Archery Based Hero Talent... Why does this not exist yet?

*Give Paladin and Dark Knight their own active combat abilities and a little revamping of all the transformations overall. *Looking at you Elven Magic Missle*
PS. I would like to see the proverbial "Grey Jedi" come into play with a possible third trans in the future that is an upgrade over both. Give Giants and Elves a second one that is just an upgrade over the original as well.

*Revamp Weapon types. Make Dagger Mastery its own thing and have it use Dex as a modifier. Maybe Scythe Mastery and Katana Mastery too. Give every weapon type 1-2 of their own unique skills and give each race a couple of their own skills based around these weapons. While we are at it, long term speaking here... add more weapons; Spears, Rifles, Canons, Glaives, Polearms etc. I imagine if you do all that some weapons should have some skills specific to each race, yeah?

*Make some more unique weapons like the Mana Knuckles. Maybe make certain ones unique to certain races? IE: Elves could have some kinda fancy Harp Bow. Humans something like a Gunblade. Giants?.... give them the aforementioned Cannon or something. More weapons that can make interesting combinations of talents.

Going on to an example or two of unique talents for each race:
Why not give humans something like a true Spellsword/Red Mage Talent. Abilities that let them infuse magic into their melee weapons? Maybe That sounds more like an Elven thing, but perhaps do the same thing with them except with bows? They already have Elven Magic Missle (Trash.) So why not just get rid of that and incorporate into a skillset? Or at least a singular skill that pulls out and utilizes a weapon's internal elemental enchant. Giants?... well they break things... give em more of that... and cannons.

I know I may have a tendency to over-reach a bit, but one can dream, can't they? Either way, this is just a couple of ideas.

Hey, I know. Give humans a quest that allows them to use Shock without a cylinder!... or give them to everybody else too...

Yes! It always bugged me that Elves can't dual-wield anything at all and just get stuck with bows for their unique thing. Elves should be able to dual-wield daggers, then a Thief talent should be introduced with unique skill paths for both Elves and Humans!

Think of it, Elves could get dual daggers and be able to use hide to pull off stealth kills...or maybe get a secret skill through this talent that actually lets them use Hide in combat when dual daggers are equipped and actually attack 1-3 times before their cover is blown. Humans could make poisons to apply to their weapons that inflict status effects like poison and paralysis (great for tougher enemies) and special knife-throwing and boomerang skills for dealing with enemies at a distance...and, yes, I said boomerang. Give humans a race-exclusive boomerang weapon type...either that, or yo-yos. Both were actually developed as weapons, you know...

Also, a combat engineer talent exclusive to Humans would be awesome. Something like the Engineer class from Wildstar, with a BFG that does spread-shot damage and a focus on mid-to-long-range AOE attacks...What? I miss my Aurin Engineer...He was awesome...*sniffle*

I wish Nexon would give elves some attention and make a revamp for once. If they ever added a race chage option I would go human in an instant. I'd rather be a jack of all trades than a mediocre specialist. The racial bonuses we do have arent anything substancial (outside of the lvl 100 buff) for the classes we are supposed to be better at and our elf only skills are underwhelming at best. At rank 1, magic missile doesn't even do 400 damage. I can do the same amount of damage but faster with one icebolt cast. Its a joke, a throwaway filler skill. Just ignore elves and continue to buff giants every single year. I don't even care anymore.

Except that won't ever happen cause nexon only hosts mabi. And more importantly in the home region elves are the most powerful race and we get very few region exclusive changes so the only way elves get buffed here is if kr decides to buff the strongest race for whatever reason.

This, too. In KR, latency is almost completely a foreign concept. Seeing as their net only has to stretch over an area roughly the size of Oregon, whereas the NA branch has to not only cover the entire U.S., but also support people in Europe and Australia.

As long as Elves are still the most OP in Korea, any revamps are almost non-existant.

With multiple playable races having differences beyond cosmetic ones, they are never going to be equal or equivalent. Making some race good at magic, another at melee, and so on seems reasonable when viewing the game in terms of cooperation and raids. But for PvP it matters. What ever the conditions are there will always be a particular race that is best suited for PvP. People into PvP will find that race and adopt it. So if a tweak comes along that changes that then those playing the old advantaged race are not gonna be happy. I don't PvP, I take it that for MabiNA giants are best for PvP now? Another tweak will come along eventually making a different race better, and lead to another round of kvetching,

There are three ways of dealing with this:
    1) allow race change at rebirth. If an update comes along making you like another race better, then you can have one instantly that is already partially developed.
    2) make the races different in cosmetics only. Everyone gets hide, stomp, mirage missile and so on and the same stat increase schedule. I mean Shakespeare can stomp right?
    <joke>3) suck it up princess.</joke>

I was literally coming back to suggest an Elf Combat Hide based ability. I love you

Like everything else you have to say, but lets take it a few steps further. Revamp the full "Dual Gun" Talent by giving it several more types of guns. Let each race have its own specialty. Humans get Shotguns, Elves Rifles and Giants... well... I keep saying give them those cannons. Give each gun an exclusive skill that replaces the dual guns' Shooting Rush. Or like you said, develop more talents based around these things.

Yes please and true enough. But a slight redesign and balancing WOULD be nice. Change the other two races around enough and throw in some more talents, skills and skill revamps and I think it would be possible at the very least. Something at least worth suggesting.

Would also be nice if we could keep up with the Korean Servers a little better...

The "idea" behind denying elves duel wielding and also why they cant use lances is because they're supposed to be physically weaker. Of course why they can use high draw-weight bows then is not addressed, but I digress. Let elves duel wield tools. Then elves might actually bother to get the combat upgrades for them. Let humans duel wield all one-handed weapons not just blades. This would explain Shamala and her duel bidingles (heh heh) Let humans duel wield tools as well. Let giants duel wield anything they can use with a shield, and what humans can and what elves can. Oh and allow mixed weapon types for duel wielding: blunt, axe, blade.

But the fact that Elves are physically weaker is exactly why I say dual daggers. Dual-wielding daggers is a classic hallmark of Rogue classes, which are traditionally very squishy and rely on stealth, agility, and dirty tricks (toxins, status effects, misdirection, etc.) to get by in battle. There is so much "sneaky-killy" potential with Elves that just doesn't get realized because of this stubborn obsession with the Elvish Archer archetype!

...Ahem, sorry, I started getting ranty near the end there...

But, yes, I'm always up for more dual-wielding. Heck, I wouldn't mind dual-wielding for shields if they could come up with a cool skillset that can make shields as a primary weapon work well (think Captain America or Goofy in the Kingdom Hearts games).

The "idea" behind it is utterly and fundamentally flawed. As you pointed out they can use high draw-weight bows and can shoot multiple arrows at a time in quick succession. *Still can't use arrow revolver though. I suppose we can call that a human exclusive skill.*

If an elf can hold a sword/mace/ax/etc in one hand, and a shield in the other... while also showing certain npcs dual-wielding in the first place... an elf can wield those things in both hands. Just to reiterate; If they are strong enough to pick up a one-handed weapon in one hand.... they can do it with two.

Fundamentally speaking, if we were to project these alternate races into reality, the elves would be the only one that should even have a predisposition to dual wield in the first place as it takes an incredible amount of coordination to fight well while wielding two weapons at the same time. It is why that is a fantasy trope as it was rarely seen throughout history.

... and yes, why put restrictions one what we can dual wield in the first place other than mechanical issues with the game or whatever?
But the fact that Elves are physically weaker is exactly why I say dual daggers. Precisely this. Also why I think daggers should be a dex based weapon that simply has access to the close combat abilities. I understand restrictions with two hande weapons. If anything I say at least let Elves Dual-Wield daggers/swords/blades and restrict them on the other types. Let Giants duel-wield any one-handed weapon and maybe give humans, who are stronger than Elves and more dexterous than Giants, the ability to duel-wield different weapon types at the same time. *Realistically Elves would still be more predispositioned to this though, but screw it.*

Imagine, if you would, a duel-dagger and bow wielding elf with a backstab skill for daggers and a combat hide ability. Final Shot, Support Shot, Combat Hide, teleport behind enemy, Backstab.

Or maybe give them a short ranged Teleport on a decently short cool down if you do not want them using combat abilities with Final Shot.

Also, make Rapiers a Dex Weapom with its own mastery as well. You see Elvish guards with Rapiers all over the sanctuary and they are more of a finessee weapon than anything else.

Seems the consensus here for the most part is giants are so OP in terms of damage dealing that the other two races are getting overshadowed.

They can do a lot of damage, tank, and technically have the second-highest movement speed. I believe in the long term the Elves, in general, have the ability to perform on the same level as Elves from the Korean servers, so I guess technically you could say the highest dps potential comes from the elves. That being said, it does seem harder starting off as an elf do to their brittle constitution and it would seem for them to make their max potential they are heavily reliant on gear and reforges.

True, you can say that about everyone end game, but I think if you do side-by-side tests with groups with reforged gear and those without, the tests with the groups without would probably show the elves getting the shorter end of the stick.

I admit though, I am going off of incomplete information here. From what I can see though, Giants have an easier time starting off from an offensive and defensive point, and that was before the update.

Giants have limited ranged capabilities, sure, but they can charge without shields by default and have good reach.

Magic requires a large investment into AP and gear to be really good and without the right gear, archery suffers from rng and loading speeds.

Humans probably have the highest potential when it comes to Dual Guns since their stats are better-rounded, but Giants still have a lot of ways to cover distance and get up close and personal, and in that regard, taking just the basic combat abilities into play, they just have more options even if they burn through stamina like nobody's business.

Not saying they are 'OP' per se... just really good and a little revamping for humans and the largely neglected elves would be nice.

I appreciate new skills for different races. It infact makes it more entertaining to play different races. However, with the release of the new giant skills, Nexon has essentially given giants humans Final Hit skill but buffed even more. Now there is literally no reason to play a human except for the fact that it may be the only character you've put work into. The lv.100 special skill for humans is pitiful It just gives us extra movement speed to catch up with the base movement speed of the other 2 races, and provides no use in combat what so ever. Give us a Human rework. Give us a reason to play actually play humans still. MAKE HUMANS UNIQUE AGAIN!

The reason I chose human was balance and customization prior to getting experience. I even prefer them over elves because the lag makes my ranged attacks useless. I predict giants will ultimately overpower humans and elves. Elves probably wouldn't be able to compete if they are within range of the giants due to the fact magic and ranged attacks require charging. Thankfully, I don't do PVP and the balancing won't cause me to suffer as much.

Humans are unique, they still can do things the other cant. The giant update literally gave gain skills that but human and elf had, being the final hit and so on... though in the end, they are all different in what they can do, Big or small. I mean hell giants cant play dead, Nor use range. But they can use 2 handers as a weapon. Elfs can play dead and hind, while human and giant cant, they are really good with archery. Someone made the comment about the transformations, saying they aren't a big thing.. when they are all different and do different things.

Honestly, I just wish some talents got reworked... like someone brought up the cleric... not a whole lot going on there. or at least more hidden talent skills that could also be different for the races. Hell even the transformation skill for creatures, that would be cool if you actually got those monsters skills and so on. That would be useful then just using it to show up, displaying it in a bubble.

Maybe have a stat-based lifting of certain racial restrictions (ex. Elves with enough STR/DEX can dual wield small swords, humans with enough STR/Will can 2H-wield greatswords).

    As for elves..
It just annoys me that every time somebody says elf, the first thing to mind is archery.
    Archery this, archery that.
    I flipping HATE archery. I'm an elf for M A G I C.

Also, with that one gacha with those spears, there should be a spear class.. or maybe even a rapier class (Looking at you, Maike).

    As for giants..
I think they're just plain OP now. Seriously, KR. Calm down with the giant revamps. Help humans and/or elves for once. Thx

More weapons that can make interesting combinations of talents

Quoting myself there, but I would love to see new talents or at least new weapon exclusive skills. Spears have been a thing forever for at least as far as enemies are concerned... you would think if skeletons were able to work out their construction, the local smiths would too.

    As for elves..
It just annoys me that every time somebody says elf, the first thing to mind is archery.
    Archery this, archery that.
    I flipping HATE archery. I'm an elf for M A G I C.

I like Archery well enough, but I understand your gripes at least. It would be cool if Rapiers could get an elf-exclusive off-hand like a *focus* that maybe worked like an off-hand wand so Elves could go all red-mage... Or just make a spell-blade talent and do something similar.

YESSS!! I'm so sick and tired of archery being the one thing everyone points to with Elves!! I made may first (and favorite) Elf to be a mage, not an archer. I just don't like archery's game feel, never have, but magic feels so, so good. And with Elves being the race with the highest starting intelligence, you'd think they'd get more magic support. You know, an exclusive spell, or a special means of infusing their melee attacks with elemental magic...something like that. But, no, every time people say, "Elves could use some love," people keep talking about how they have archery and that's "good enough."

Sorry, Elf mage secondary main here, saying Elves deserve some love on the magic side. A Spell-Blade talent similar to the one in Bravely Default (or a single race-exclusive skill that emulates it) would be great. Being able to set you sword on fire, use it as a staff (or have the sword type associated with that talent pull double-duty as a staff), coat it in lightning or ice...that's what I'm talking about! And have the talent (or skill) available from the beginning with Elves, only unlocked when you get Master (or Grand Master) in both magic and close combat for Humans, and not at all for Giants. Ooh, and change damage on Rapiers to scale with Intelligence and Dexterity...Yes...
