Mabi also has a real world trading going on behind the scene as well. Idk how much impact, but these dealings are def influencing the economy or shady practices. Those shady CS shops looks to be suspiciously linked.

    happens with most games D:

If something is annoying to get, too rare to be rewarding, and possible to exploit it in anyway while keeping the info about it low profile: Would speak a possible black market of the game for a gamer to make real life money or find destroying the eco a fun simulator.

Another reason I hate RNG with abysmal rates in most situations where a player would see it as a possible gold mine to exploit others who HATED it at they're very being. Although getting rid of RNG can speak a huge jump in progression and for an online game you would want to try to keep it interesting and fun along with being a time waster to give the creators enough time to make the next content but abysmal rates is not the answer.

Get rid of gacha and you will get rid of the black market. Well...at least half of it. :)

I keep bringing up comparisons of other games yet the reasons why they did not have outrageous inflation is because the items sold in most markets is found in-game already, unlike Mabinogi which introduces items obtained from an outside purchase through the gachapon.
The only thing Mabinogi and those games share are the "premium services" and events. However, through events, certain items may get introduced, those items in other games can only be obtained by playing the game and not buying it outside, like a web-shop or something.
If Mabinogi or Nexon somehow change its idea of introducing items, pets or whatever, into the game I hope it can be obtained by playing the game instead of buying it. Yet if the gold inflation is not fixed, whatever method comes up after gachapon or anything, the exploit of simply buying from another player will not change and the need for more gold will continue.
