What is the difference of the Ancient Persian Support Puppet and the Persian Support pupprt?
Comments
The Ancient version has no time limit and will always be active when equipped.
Are the regular ones tradeable?
Some do special attacks, others do shields to protect you. Don't know what Persian one actually does though.
Standard Support Puppet stuff:
1) Randomly cast Natural, Ice, Fire, or Lightning Shield on your character. You can right click your puppet to turn this function off separately from the other bonuses.
2) Show the location of orbs and monsters on the minimap
3) Show which Dungeon orb will open the door, by having the orb sparkle.
4) Show which SM orb will re-open the door, by having the orb sparkle after you've already hit the orb once to close the door. (watch out for dual-wield as it hits orbs twice)
Some puppets give Actions that do something like attack or something, but nothing like that on the Persian, though.
Just a standard Shield/Orb/Map functions.
The shield can be nice, since you can move around with it unlike how the normal magic skills work.
But you can't really control which shield the puppet gives you, and often times in a party it gets in the way of other players' attacks, especially if the puppet decides to give you Natural Shield.
