Allow VIP Inventory to hold bags.
Comments
There have been times when we all got VIP/Premium for free, for like a month. I guess you never tried leaving something there to see what would happen when it expires. You can remove items from it; so nothing is lost. Gold left there is not counted in your total BTW; some folks wonder about that.
From a players point of view the pet idea is great, but the original idea is a win/win for player and Nexon. If they implemented the pet idea the original idea would be far less attractive.
You make room in your primary inventory for it and transfer it to there. There are ways to deal with this so no one is trapped.
Ain't it amazing how Milletians are able to amass such HUGE sums of Gold-Reservers into their Bank-Accounts, yet, for some reason, they aren't able to buy up or engage in, err, ahem, the «Monopolistic-Practices» of «buying out storage-space and/or commercial-resources» that such wealth should be able to afford ? Maybe it's just the «business-man/entrepreneurial-spirit» in me but I would literally go about negotiating with who-ever happens to be the «head-honcho» of the lands (or at least find the administrative-procedures) for obtaining/acquiring or even making a «business» out of «building space» & constructing more «storage-units» that maybe the less-ambitious Milletians could buy/rent from my storage-unit or something similar business.
Were I to talk to Queen Eirawen about it, for example, I would have to explain to her that maintaining, developing, and upgrading some of my equipment can get very expensive sometimes, and that I need even more and more efficient ways to keep my operations and activities funded, especially, given the «history repeating itself phenomenon» of «looming threats» appearing upon the lands every now-and-then, and, even if I am «profiting» from the «business» ventures, the kingdom and such could/would still benefit from it greatly given my entrepreneurial-minded spirit that has plenty of ideas for «re-investing back into the Kingdom which gave me so much support» that continue and continue to «develop» the society/civilisation (similarly to how that «Main» character in the Honzuki no Gekokujo animé came up with plenty of «profitable» ideas that gained her the favour/trust of both Merchant & even a bad-ass Noble).
Disclaimer: Yes, I am aware that one can just create extra characters for another Bank-Space slot, but I think that there are now so many different items in existence that it wouldn't necessarily be unfair for there to be a sort of «Bank-Expansion» option available (even if it had to be unlocked via Quests, obtained from Event-Items that are maybe similar to how those Draw-String Pouches add another «Line» of inventory space to certain bags, but maybe be more like «pages» as I described in this other thread that apparently got moved over here to «Feed-Back» for some reason...).
1. like normal VIP, the bags should act like a one-way bank for any items when you're no longer a VIP player - so if you need something, you should still be able to open/access the bags, but you just can't put anything back in. Also, for safety, bags can't be removed from VIP unless emptied, to avoid being forced to drop or hold them in your mouse until you figure something out.
In this system, when VIP expires:
-bags can be opened
-bags cannot be removed from VIP tab unless emptied
-bag inventory is greyed out
-you cannot use items stored in bags
-you can remove items from bags, but cannot put items into bags
2. If this isn't possible due to some weirdness with Mabi's engine, then bags could instead act more like the shop kiosk stalls - you can't directly access them when VIP is expired, but you can 'clean' them and remove all items in each bag when they're inaccessible (basically this is pretty much just adding a 'clean bag' option to the right-click menu for all bags). And ditto on the 'safety' thing.
In this system, when VIP expires:
-bags cannot be opened
-bags cannot be removed from VIP tab unless emptied
-you can choose to 'clean' the bag, emptying the bags' contents into your regular and temporary inventory space
Right now I have more bags than can fit on my screen. I arrange all specialist bags, in an overlapping diagonal pattern. This way part of the bag is always on-screen regardless of what pattern of bag openings I have. My general purpose bags are still displayed in full though. Should I get more bags then I will have to arrange them in this manner as well.
and the ability to use VIP bags.. for a low cost of $9.99!
I'm sure they'll round it up by a cent.
It depends if you pay in cash or not. We ditched the penny in 2013. Pennies are no longer legal tender; they have not been grandfathered. If you pay in cash the merchant rounds up or down to the nearest nickle. If you pay electronically pennies still exist, in the same way mills still exist in electric power metres.
Of course, at some point, the people of Erinn will be threatened by how politically powerful we milletians are becoming. They might even start to wonder if any of those <<looming threats>> are actually genuine at all, or if we're just putting them there or making them up to keep them reliant on us and giving us more control.
If we push them too far, the more powerful forces of Erinn are going to band together and attempt to oust us.
Don't forget, you have to buy special VIP only bags. They're the only bags that can go in the VIP inventory, and they only come from the VIP gacha.
But at least each one gives you bonus stats like -20% durabilityloss, +20 max damage/magic attack, or +200% movement speed (applies to mounts as well).
The inventory expansion coupon already does expand all three inventories.
Let's add a separate VIP coupon to expand only the VIP section.
Given the already existing product, that is not likely to sell, but whatever; it's more work to program that but not THAT much work overall. What about inventory expansions that add rows; since the ones that add columns already exist.
