Cant advance this quest for fynn crafting

Ok, so I'm so confused on the quest to obtain fynn crafting. It says to make the snack with the mats katell gives you, did that. i have the happy little mushroom cookie. Then use your shiny small grain to feed your snack to your fynni fynn. When i use my small grain all my fynni fynn does is say things like i wonder what pinky is thinking about or i like master most of all... nothing farther and no prompt to feed it. When i talk to pinky or katell they just tell me to use craft and make the snack.

    Have you tried dragging the cookie to Fynni Fynn?

    I've been having issues with this too and it hasn't worked when I talk to Fynni Fynn or drag the Special snack :( My Quest also seems to not have moved past "Cook food using Fynn Crafting"

    I've noticed that if you have this quest and Teine's event quest at the same time, the crafting will progress for Teine and not for the skill storyline. So much for trying to hit two birds with one stone...

    If "Cook food using Fynn Crafting" isn't cleared just make another cookie. The Ingredients are easy enough to get.

    I'm having the exact same problem, my quest is also stuck at "Cook food using Fynn Crafting". I can't feed it by dragging it on Fynni Fynn, and using the "Small Shiny Grain Kernel" just gives quotes like "The adventures of Fynni Fynn begins here!"
