I would have to assume then that Discord is just more active than these forums... more traffic means more types of characters passing through more frequently (kind of like how events occur at least ten times more frequently in larger cities than small towns... this will obviously include the bad).

Not to mention the fact that «NPCs» are apparently everywhere... they would rather insult, accuse, character-assassinate, mock, ridicule, use pejoratives, call you a bot, say that you're being paid, etc., rather than doing any sort of homework in order to form well-reasoned logical-explanations for those with whom they may disagree, and they also tend to scream the loudest. Said NPCs are the types of people who apparently easily fall for astro-turfing deceptions(~10m36s) that are also used to hide/cover the actual «fake news»(~9m41s) from being recognised as «social-engineering» which was actually banned by the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948... this legislative-Act was repealed back in 2012 by the way because they didn't like being constantly sued for promoting false-information to the (American) public.

I was at a community dinner-meeting recently and the topic came up to where we had to describe such a phenomenon as one where most of the population as a whole seems to be more like a bunch of children in adult-bodies rather than actual adults capable of speaking with logic and reason (I also once read a very interesting fictional-story about a class-room of children who had a great teacher, children who turned out to be far more mature than the so-called adults in mainstream-culture, and following their development into adulthood showed a common-link behind their massive super-success towards contributing great things to the world as all having come from that one same class-room from back when they were in 3rd-Grade).

Anyway, know that fame and higher-traffic exposure will see a higher rate of negativity & toxicity, but only because it comes-with-the-territory due to the abnormal social-norms seen as-if though they are «normal» even when they are not (I am referring in particular to how people think that «punishment» is «normal» and even socially acceptable even though it is actually not; supporting references this claim as follows...: «Why Punishment Doesn't Work» | [9m39s] «The Sociopathy of Everyday Life — Exploring the Mild, "Normal Sociopathic” Side of So Many People» -Daniel Mackler [former Therapist] | [~32m40s {skip to 30m01s for relevant reference}] «Does Consciousness Influence Quantum-Mechanics ?»).

Discord, is it ? Imagine that... (social) discord occurring in a system named (after) Discord. No passive-aggressiveness intended in that reference to that word discord by the way. Anyway, I have some more quotes you might may find of interest, one for Wisdom and the next for amusement.

«Better to teach the 'youth' to control their anger and jealousy, rather than their 'loving' activities.»

“Never follow anyone else’s path. Unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path. Then by all means follow that path.” —Ellen DeGeneres

That moment when Discord Moderator publicly shows toxidicity towards someone. Discord is a toxic hell hole.

    It wasn't because of them.

Even if it wasn't them who told you off, i still saw negativity from them.

"Imagine being proud of spamming." That did sound passive aggressive in my head.
Tbh this is kinda way I tend to avoid the discord in most cases. Not that the forum is always better, but I've had a lot more luck here than there. Just always seems to be a lot more....chancy, to put it nicely, for some reason.
«Never under-estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers...» -George Carlin (and also Mark Twain)

«A mind is a terrible thing to waste» -Original source obfuscated by recent alterations to historic-records

Am I experiencing the Mandella Effect? Wasn't there a thread announcing the "New Look" of the site and forums? I can't find it; did I imagine it?

Anyway, although to me the aesthetic of the forums looks like something my Grandmother would have been the head designer on, for the most part, I am indifferent.

It indeed looks super girly, but i'm also indifferent about it. It looks more flashy and such, slightly all over the place with coloring and font, but i can get used to it.

I was a little surprised to pull up the page and the first thing I was hit by was a screen of pink.... XD

They've always been like that, no skin off of my ass. I always feel like they are quick to judge me and are subtly antagonistic. They are not the only ones who act like that in that server. Never cared about their little clique, never will. It's very reminiscent of high school and just as awkward when they try to get under my skin.

Basically, I know I rub them the wrong way and the feeling is mutual. :smirk:

I have found a number of mistakes posted by this «Thinks they know it all» whom I had to correct on at least one occasion, such as the correct French-language translation for the word related to Speaking, but it's clear to anybody who does their homework when someone else hasn't done their homework and I am too busy with other matters these days to bother responding anyway (this post is only being a rare momentary exception).

My reference to HMS Pinafore was meant as self deprecating humour. I thought it was obvious.

And i will say whatever I want to say. There's no point in holding it in and kissing ass when people already have their reservations about you.
