I want to be a Paladin again ;~;
Don't get me wrong I'm aware of the once you go black you don't go back but ffs :<. You think there would be a quest where you break from the darkness and see the light.

that sounds cool. it would be nice to get a event like that here every year or make a permanent option to change back. changing between Paladin and Dark Knight should require some effort. maybe a long questline that would take about as long as the Dark Knight questline did. players should be able to have the option to switch between the two as long as they are willing to work for it a little. also maybe Elves and Giants should get a dark knight option, they might get some cool abilities and armor.
Paladin looks cooler. Plus they have wings.
I looked it up and yes KR did have an Event because apparently DKs outnumbered Paladins by a huge amount so they had a quest that allowed people to revert back. Why they made it where we can switch demigods and not Transformations is still confusion o.o
Maybe one day.
A change like this would also go well with a revamp to how these transformations work. (like not making them title-based so you wouldn't be averse to using them just to have them replace the useful bonuses from your normal titles)
That wasn't an official event. It was compensation due to a bug that didn't allow players a choice at the time. If NA had a bug where we didn't get prompted twice on our choice, then we would get a similar event.
TBH, all the 2nd-last transforms are better than the last.
There was an event in JP a long time ago, but that was mainly because I guess when they initially translated it, they left out the part that said "you can't change back", so it allowed people who changed to a DK without knowing that the chance to go back to Paladin.
