Is this a mistake?

My Brother has recently created a character and I told him he should rebirth to the Hero for Alchemy Professor J when he said those are available free. But for some reason he did not receive the shield and the Cylinder... is this a hiccup in his client or what?

    I know you get a shield+cylinder if you create a character in the Professor J talent. I did it with one of the free Elite Hero cards they gave out. I don't think you get those items if you simply rebirth into them though. =(

    It's not a mistake. You only get free initial equipment for your initial character birth. After that, since you already got free stuff, rebirths give nothing. So, if your first talent was a crafting talent, well sux 2bu.
