Taillteann farming should be netting about 5 times the amount they are doing atm. NOBODY is farming, that should tell you enough. It's almost free gold and NOBODY is doing it anymore. The cost for renting a field should go up so there is a mild sinkhole to not inflate the economy so badly. But the yield from a perfectly taken care of farm should be 5 times greater than it currently is.

Doesn't farming require VIP/Premium? I've never tried it. If you get a plot is it repeated on all channels. If it is it'd be nice if your plot were channel specific; then more plots are available. Honestly, I'd just leave the farm costs the same and boost profits. I mean it's too late to save inflation so we might as well let folks make a living; lots of folks don't like to fight anyway.

You need VIP to rent a plot, and farms are channel specific.

Since it's channel specific then I would say, for a start, maybe move it from behind a pay wall and that might be all it needs.

Yeah. Back in the early days, the amount of gold you could make on the farms was rather huge, especially for the game economy. I could see the need for VIP, since there were a limited number of plots up for grabs and many players interested in it. I gave it a go a few times when Nexon made free VIP service available to everyone either as a promotion for the VIP service, or for player compensation due to some game issue.

But these days, I can potentially make more in a day doing commerce than I would a typical week of farming. And then there is the easy gold from blossoming fynni gems. Given the easier ways to earn gold, and the nuisance factors involved with farming, I doubt that there are many players paying for VIP because of farming. Might as well as open up farming to anyone who is interested.
