It seems like such an outdated system that collects dust

Like the one where you actually have to buy a pet card to rebirth

Lavawalker imp -> insert name for mounted pet with shields

Aren't certain skills unusable by other pets, even if you rebirth into another to get them?

Like Thunder Spaniel -> Bone Dragon gives you a bone dragon with unusable Thunder.
Still get the stats from it, I think, but can't use it.

If you truly honestly care enough to spend the considerable amount of both time and money to train and buy rebirths for your favorite pet, you should probably just buy the 15$ pack currently on sale. An instant lvl 200 pet will probably have a bigger impact on pet stats than an extra skill or two. Nab 3 whistles while your at it too.

like most things in the game there USED to be a sort of reason to do it back when people actively used pets to deal combat damage. Like I remember my one buddy had a pet that had FB, but low int so its damage was mediocre, but one that had higher int came out but some other magic skill so he RB'd the pet into that one (note this was like 6-7 years or so ago so I can't go into the details)

Rebirthing pets is usually to give a pet a skill it doesn't have. A notable example is the Albino King Snake (no longer available), which does not have the Counterattack skill. There is also the bolt spells, most pets only have one and are capable of using all three. Once upon a time, it may be worth rebirthing a pet, but nowadays you are better off making a new pet with the pet card.

I did this long ago, buy the polar bear make it big (tofu) so its skills were all ranked then rebirth it back to a baby polar bear. I ended up with all its skills high ranked. Super strong bears.

I did so for my Clover Gnu, to give it a reset, so I could make it more Mana capable, in order to use MP300's for it.

I use Hotsprings nowadays for that, there's one that gives the gnu MP faster than anyone can pick from.

    But really ?

I'd like to do my pets right, but not being able to buy the correct cards is like multipain..

If I could I'd rebirth my Dragons to give them a good upbringing for once, but hey. guess what
the card is no longer being sold..

    It's kinda clueless..

Who in his right mind would instead of getting a new pet, use the card to RB anyway ?
Makes no sense. You'd have the second pet assume the role of the first,
    while retaining the first one.
And if it's cash only, who'd rather rebitth hsi first pet, while paying money for it ?
Pet rebirth would only make sense if it was implemented as a 'retry' to make the pet stronger this time around.
Well, the only thing that would possibly make sense, is stuff like the magic and extra skills,
but then again, if only skills make the diff, it's not that much of a diff anyhow.
You'd lose your original pet. And that is NOT worth cash..

Anyway, I hope there's gonna be Rebirth for ingame cash, into exactly the same pet, for a simple redo of their upbringing.
(maxing their levels and stat the right way)
    ..
