It's come to my attention, after being mail-bombed, that Heart Stickers are practically useless. They're basically an old version of the altruist system (which has been abused countless times) and have little to no impact on gameplay whatsoever. The courteous title unlocks after 100 (?) coupons have been mailed to you from newbie players. Even then, it has no bonuses except for cosmetic effect, and even then, the heart effect from the title is also obtainable temporarily from red cotton candy. The fact that the coupons alone require to be mailed individually and are quite annoying to receive/use should be a red flag. Even if getting the title was easy, the title has no stat buffs, so there is no incentive for players to use it besides aesthetic value, but even then, there are other titles that provide similar effects with better buffs (Such as the Christmas titles, heartbreaker 2nd, cater master, halloween titles, etc.)
From the wiki article on heart stickers:
A total of 100 Heart Points are required to obtain "the Courteous" title suffix. When worn, a floating heart will appear next to the character..
Every day, a person who has over 100 heart points will lose three points.
One may have more than 100 points at one moment. In fact, there does not appear to be a limit to the amount of points that can be stored.
The title will be available as long as your Heart Point count exceeds 100.
Honestly, it should be removed entirely or changed to make the heart sticker system rewarding. Altruists are not encouraged by petty coupons that clog up mailboxes and titles that only add aesthetic value and otherwise are pretty much useless.
The stickers should be directly credited to the player as some sort of "points" rather than a physical item the recipient has to redeem. There should also be a tab that allows the player to purchase various items (Such as SM crystals, Nao stones, titles, upgrade stones, golden fruit, dye amps, Golden/Plat/Rusty hammers, skill training seals, rebirth potions, and other gameplay/cosmetic items) for a set amount of points (all of the items would be untradeable to prevent the abuse of this system). The title could still be something that could be unlocked, but it should provide some sort of bonus, and require a certain amount of points to unlock.
To balance the heart point system out, it could be reset on a regular and established basis. There should be a large quantity of time for players to accumulate and spend their points.
It would encourage a more proactive altruist force and provide real incentives for players to engage in the community and encourage newer players to enjoy and play the game.
