First they said that the event was working as intended. Then when I explained the math and how this is just Thursday bonus on the weekend, I was informed that the success rate depended on the "rarity of the item" for the event. Then when I cited the initial event post as to what the event description was, I was told that "3rd party sites can be misleading" and asked for the source... which was their own website. After it all, I was told to submit screenshots of everything involving the issue. Which I did. Then I was told that the event would be investigated and the situation remedied. Later, I was told that the screenshots were not sufficient and that I needed to record the enchanting process for them lol haven't heard from them since. Not at home so I can't exactly keep up with it anymore.

Don't get me wrong, the person wasn't particularly mean- just ignorant and difficult.

I laughed so hard at this. Even nexon staff knows their website "can be misleading".

Probably won't be the last where Nexon is concerned unfortunately.

From what I understand very few of the people in customer support have actually played the game, even if they personally investigated I doubt any random customer support person would even understand what was wrong.

Where can I apply to be on Nexon's customer support team?

C'mon, I even have service training.

The event is granting you an additional 10% of your base rate (Success rate at 0 Intelligence), and therein lies the problem.
This is exactly what the Thursday already does, though.

In theory, the event isn't wrong, but I really doubt this is what it was supposed to be.

I failed burning a Daunting burn and a Solo burn today. Wasn't sure if burns were affected by success rate as well.

They have two positions open but you have to live in Segundo California.

I wish they had work from home positions.

... I live around there. Maybe I should try and apply. See what the hell is going on.

Just make sure you don't let them know who you are in the forums. They don't seem to have much requirements, but I assume customer service experience is a must. Good luck and keep everything confidential - thus making your investigation pointless unless you want to taint your employment history.

I wish they did, too. I think I'd like the job.
