Things I hate: events that force on you items you cannot drop nor destroy, specially when you have no intention of doing said event. Really, since you have to register, why not wait till then to deliver the darn clipboard?

For the regen, have a pet attack it: it won't do much damage but it WILL stop the regen from activating. Easier if you have lots (LOTS!) of pets, Divine Link, and fynni pets available.
