  • Blacklisting Someone Should Hide Party Adverts

    courtneyy wrote: »
I'm assuming it still works, as I haven't logged in lately to try it, but if you go into your options menu, into the chat settings, you will find a box where you can input someone's username, and you can blacklist them that way. Pretty sure it'll hide their party ads! I'd like to know if someone can test this, I don't have time to login right at this moment to check.

It doesn't, unfortunately, but thanks for the suggestion.

Whether it's a glitch or mod is frankly irrelevant, point being I don't want to be seeing messages spammed over and over and have no way to block it.

I mean you're kind of doing it again? Saying things before doing your research. You can block the messages by pressing enter and switch over to the normal chat tab so you ignore party advertisements.

That's about as helpful a suggestion as saying 'if you have a single issue with a game, just uninstall the game'. My interest is blocking a particular individual spamming, not absolutely every party advert scrolling by. If the existence of party adverts themselves were my problem yeah, I'd switch to normal chat. It's not. It's people spamming.

Disclaimer/Off-Topic : The research/analysis that I have done leaves me to conclude that all of those so-called «natural-disasters» are not from so-called «climate-change» nor «human-production of CO₂», but, rather, from literal weather-control technology/weaponry that's been weaponised, for which literal patents exist which detail how to «control the weather» and the fact that there's even a literal document from the «military» itself, open and available to the general public, with the name/title... Owning the Weather by 2025

    Literally what?
    Huh?
    Are you okay?
Are you in the wrong place?

  • Your most nostalgic/best memory of mabinogi

My favorite memory was pre-Alchemist update, I had a little group of friends that, like me, were too lazy to do any actual training, so we were just a bunch of noobs. But we all had the fancy mimics, and we'd call ourselves the Box Boys, and pop out by random passers-by and demand them to duel for their honor (where we'd immediately be creamed). We never got anything done, but we had fun.

I think the idea of a reconnect function kills the game. There is no fun in playing a game that does not punish the player. For example, back when players died, unblessed equipment had a chance to drop on the ground and you would have to pay for that gear back at the town. This game needs more punishments, rather than catering it to sheltered children.

You're right - technical issues, outside the game, should be punished, because they're certainly in the same category as IN GAME FUNCTIONS, meant to be included by the developers, like dropping unblessed equipment. Maybe while we're at it, I should be taxed extra gold on purchases in game since I don't live in a city, or that I should only be allowed to play two hours a day since I don't have VIP. Fair punishments.

You should move. Mabinogi is not your excuse to stay in the middle of nowhere.

.. Yes. I should up and move, because certainly that's just a viable option for me to decide just here and now, all for the sake of a better internet connection to play Mabinogi, and certainly not because of other factors like:
-I own the land I live on, and would rather not sell it so I could buy a more expensive property elsewhere.
    -Money.
-I love the scenery and privacy of my property.
