Love Mabi but can't help but wish life skills were more fun. I thought of some skills/updates that could breathe life back into the homestead and life skill category.
New Skills:
Craftsman: Allows Players to refine lower quality materials into superior versions at a craft bench with a chisel or sewing needle*. 20 Cheap Leathers = 10 Common Leathers = 5 Fine Leathers = 3 Finest Leathers (same rate for silk and fabrics) +21 INT + 21 DEX
Attention to Detail: (Passive) Provides a chance to improve star quality of item or return some materials.(all crafting skills) +13 INT +10 DEX

New items Added:
Crafting Bench [Can be located by the general shop of every town or purchased with 30 pons for homesteads] allows you to improve the quality of materials with the correct tools.
Chisel (tool for refining leathers)
Sewing Needle (tool for refining silk and fabrics)
Purchasable from general shops or crafted w/ handicraft.
Homestead Update
Add a new building to your homestead
Storage Shed
- Cost 40 Wood Boards, 40 Building Stones, 20 Finest Leathers, 10 fine firewood, 1 weeding hoe, 1 sickle, 1 Gathering Knife
Storage Shed allows Players to add a new building to their homestead. Players are allowed to store materials for crafting skills as well as gathering tools.
with a 12x12 storage (not accessible through accounts strictly to owner of each hs) Items gathered on players homestead will go to this box if owner doesn't pick them up (this is something that can be toggled on and off in homestead option)
It's possible for Players to craft near this shed and will automatically use the storage and the players inv to add materials.
Crops can now be sold!
When Players crops are finish growing and are ready for harvest choose between turning them in to grow your homestead or for a profit.
The trading post imp is investing in shipping some unique crops. Plant, Grow, and Sell new crops from your homestead to gain some ducats.
Continue the profits by also shipping your items out across Uladh but beward Bandits are especially interested in these.
