  • Borderless Fullscreen with Taskbar option

You mean like a "maximize" option for windowed mode?

Not quite. A maximized window still has its title bar, at which point simply dragging the sides to make the window bigger can achieve the same effect.

What I mean is something that looks allmost like fullscreen, but the taskbar remains on the bottom and Windows recognizes the game as windowed rather than "real" fullscreen. It makes the game look kinda like as if it was a wallpaper, but without anything (icons and widgets) on top. I see this mode available in very few games, but it's really nice imo.

  • Feature: Block Player (much needed updates)

Massive +1. I don't care if the people I block can tell they've been blocked, I want to be able to go about my day having fun without worrying that I might be being stalked or that someone is taking screens of things I say talking with friends to twist them out of context later when they clearly already caused me trouble.

It's simply a matter of privacy. Currently blocking someone just means you aren't able to keep an eye on them to protect yourself from harassment but they can track you happily. It doesn't bother me in the slightest if they feel like they won some dumb argument because I was the one to block.

you get a lot of "delicate" people playing this game
I get what you mean but I wouldn't really say delicate, quotes or no quotes. We come online and play this game because we want to enjoy ourselves and many times forget about the conflicts and drama of real life as well. If I'm just chilling around being immersed and suddenly a political or religious argument pops up in bugles and completely floods chat and flashes in front of my eyes one idiotic message at a time, I simply want to not see any of it. I don't think that makes me "delicate".

  • Making more outfits Genderswapped

Plenty of great ideas in this thread! I've personally found myself sulking several times over perfectly neutral-looking outfits and hairstyles that my male character cannot wear because of... reasons? For example, I like the Hillwen Engineer's Wig and Goggles (F) but there's no Eluned version of it. The male version isn't bad, but I'd rather not have the little side braid since it doesn't fit my character. Ironically, this makes the F version look more masculine to me.

  • Selective/Minimal ambient sounds mode option

For players who easily get overwhelmed by background noise or just want to listen only to BGM/music playing while in town, I'd like to suggest an option for the game where you can turn off sounds selectively. Things like idle animal noises, the sounds of pets, Edern's hammer are all good examples of this.
While these sounds add life to the game, some players, myself included, would like the ability to turn them off without disabling all sound effects in the process.

Darn, stuff's geating heated up and I'd be lying if I said I don't find it kind of hilarious. Is this what extended maintenance does to people?

That said, to anyone who's already able to log in (not me), welcome people of Alexina! Looking forward to meeting some of you again, and some others of you for the first time.

it's kind of scary to be honest
i mean, i kind of understand why people are on edge, especially Alexina players, i felt the same way when Nao was being made...
but i don't think being hostile will solve anything, it'll just make people more tense...

even if the game does eventually pass away in the future, of course i'd be upset, but this game is incredibly old (especially for an mmorpg).
i think KR is working on optimizing it too so once we get that and memory leak fixes here (maybe some graphic updates as well) then it would be a perfect time to advertise,... though it might be a bit hard since less and less people are willing to invest into games that are a time sink like Mabinogi, and then the whole gacha fiasco... :cold_sweat:
i think having one server is a good step, mostly because newbies won't have to worry about what server to pick!

I agree, all this arguing is pointless. Nobody likes the prospect of losing their character names or the fact that population is dwindling, but attacking each other or pointing fingers at Nexon solves neither. The merge is a necessity at the moment and that is a fact, I was an Alexina player originally but it was so empty i just felt forced to start over on Nao. People should focus on what can be done going forward, like pushing for a naming system that's more fair and for better advertisement of the game.

Having a unified server benefits everyone when we push aside the naming issue anyways. If population actually does increase too much, we can easily get more channels to handle it.
